Entrevista a Evil Conduct:

 

Antes de empezar con la entrevista los saludo de parte de Working Class Heroes SkinheadZine, bueno empecemos…

 

1) Cuéntennos un poco sobre la formación actual y los cambios que ha tenido hasta hoy en día la banda.

 

La formación actual de Evil Conduct es:

 

Han: Vocalista y guitarra

Joost: Bajo y coros

Phil: Batería y coros

 

En enero de este año, el baterista original Ray dejó la banda porque había una gran cantidad de desacuerdos sobre la banda, pero no es agradable hablar mucho de esto públicamente, así que no tengo más comentarios sobre este tema.

Yo (Joost) estoy tocando en Evil Conduct desde diciembre de 2005.

El bajista original Frans dejó la banda un par de semanas antes de que me uniera a la banda.

 

2)¿Que opinan que nuestro Fanzine lleve el nombre de una canción de ustedes en honor a la clase trabajadora y a la banda?

 

Creemos que es un honor que eligan este nombre para su Fanzine, en mi opinión, “Working Class Heroes” es una canción que tiene un mensaje muy importante. Mi abuelo trabajaba en las minas de carbón hace más de 30 años y ha ayudado a construir nuestro país después de la segunda guerra mundial, mucha gente en estos días fácilmente olvida que nuestros abuelos construyeron todo lo nuevo que fue demolido después de la guerra y tenemos que estar agradecidos por la riqueza en el que vivimos hoy, de hecho trabajaron muy duro para el bienestar en el que vivimos hoy.

 

3) ¿Tienen pensando hacer una gira por Latinoamérica?

 

Hemos tenido algunas ofertas ya para tocar en algunos países Sudamericanos y la esperanza de que esto suceda pronto.

Nosotros hemos oído y visto en Facebook que tenemos un montón de fans en América del sur y estamos deseando conocer a algunos de ellos. Significa mucho para nosotros cuando la gente escucha nuestra música y por supuesto si pueden relacionar nuestras letras!

 

4) ¿Qué opinan de la subcultura Skinhead actual y sus divisiones políticas partidistas?

 

Creemos que es triste que todo sea sobre política.

Nosotros odiamos la política y estamos tocando en una banda en la cual nos gusta beber cerveza con nuestros compañeros y conocer a gente en nuestros conciertos y tomar una cerveza con ellos tambien.

Para ser claros nos oponemos a todos los bandos extremos.

Evil Conduct se trata de reírse y tomar una copa con los amigos.

A.P.A.B (All Politicians Are Bastards “Todos los políticos son unos bastardos”)!!!!...

 

5) Según ustedes ¿Cual es su mejor disco?

 

(Joost) Esto es muy difícil de decidir qué álbum es el mejor, pero me gusta mucho "Sorry, no" y “Eye For An Eye”.

Desde ya era un gran fan de Evil Conduct antes de que me uniera a la banda.

Tambien estoy orgulloso de todos los registros que he hecho con los chicos.

 

6)¿Tienen algún material nuevo que puedan compartir con nosotros?

 

En este momento no disponemos de nuevas canciones todavía.

Estamos a la planificación para trabajar en nuevas canciones esta primavera o verano.

Nuestro sello acaba de lanzar un álbum en vivo de nuestro show en Berlín Alemania.

 

7)¿Qué opinan de las bandas de Oi! actuales?

 

¿Se refieren a las nuevas bandas de Oi! nos gustan?

Pues tocamos con “Rude Pride” y “Shock Waves” (ambos de España) hace un tiempo.

Ambas bandas tienen nuevos lanzamientos y tengo que decir que ambos lanzamientos son muy, muy buenos!

Así que si no conocen estas bandas todavía hay tiempo para ello!

Hay tantas otras bandas que me gustan, pero creo que vas a conocer a la mayoría de ellos ya. Bandas como Booze & Glory, Gimp Fist, Lion’s Law, Marching Orders, Razorcut, y Grade 2.

Las viejas bandas como The Last Resort, The 4 Skins, Cock Sparrer, The Bussines, The Ejected y así sucesivamente son geniales por supuesto!

Tambien escuchamos mucho Punk Rock The Generators, Duane Peters Gunfight and the U.S Bombs, y un montón de Skinhead Reggae, Ska y Rocksteady.

(Joost) Mi banda favorita de América del Sur (Brasil) es Blindpigs.

Interview with Evil Conduct:

Before starting the interview I greet you on behalf of Working Class Heroes Skinheadzine, well let's start ...

​

1) Tell us a little about the current training and changes that has had until today the band.

​

The current training of Evil Conduct is:

Han: Vocalist and guitar
Joost: Bass and backing vocals
Phil: Drums and Backing vocals

In January of this year, original drummer Ray left the band because there were a lot of disagreements about the band, but it's not nice to talk about this much publicly, so I have no further comments on this.
I (Joost) have been playing in Evil Conduct since December 2005.
The original bassist Frans left the band a couple of weeks before I joined the band.

2) What do you think our Fanzine bears the name of a song of yours in honor of the working class and the band?

​

We think it is an honor to choose this name for their Fanzine, in my opinion, "Working Class Heroes" is a song that has a very important message. My grandfather worked in the coal mines more than 30 years ago and helped build our country after the Second World War, many people these days easily forget that our grandparents built everything new that was demolished after the war and we have than to be grateful for the wealth in which we live today, in fact worked very hard for the welfare in which we live today.

3) Are you planning to tour in Latin America?

​

We have had some offers already to play in some South American countries and hope that this will happen soon.
We have heard and seen on Facebook that we have a lot of fans in South America and we are looking forward to meeting some of them. It means a lot to us when people listen to our music and of course if they can relate our lyrics!

4) What do you think of the current Skinhead subculture and its politicized divisions that only divide us?

​

We think it's sad that it's all about politics.
We hate politics and we are playing in a band where we like to drink beer with our partners and meet people at our concerts and have a beer with them too.
To be clear we oppose all extreme sides.
Evil Conduct is about laughing and having a drink with friends.
A.P.A.B (All Politicians Are Bastards "All politicians are bastards") !!!! ...

5) According to you What is your best album?

​

(Joost) This is very difficult to decide which album is the best, but I really like "Sorry, no" and "Eye For An Eye".
Since I was a big fan of Evil Conduct before I joined the band.
I'm also proud of all the records I've made with the guys.

6) Do you have any new material you can share with us?

​

We do not have any upcoming songs yet.
We are planning to work on new songs this spring or summer.
Our label has just released a live album of our show in Berlin Germany.

​

7) What do you think of the Oi bands! current

Do they refer to the new Oi bands! we like them?

Well we played with "Rude Pride" and "Shock Waves" (both from Spain) some time ago.
Both bands have new releases and I have to say that both releases are very, very good!
So if you do not know these bands there is still time for it!
There are so many other bands that I like, but I think you'll get to know most of them already. Bands like Booze & Glory, Gimp Fist, Lion's Law, Marching Orders, Razorcut, and
